Please note that this is not a 'formal' event for our group so RSVP's are not required. I will be volunteering at this event and am just promoting it to get the word out. Link for detailed information on this ride: http://www.bike4breastcancer.org/prr_milford_mi.html Routes Available: 8, 16, 24, 41 and 50 Mile Rides Registration Begins: 7:00 AM - for the 50 mile ride 7:30 AM - for all other rides 9:00 AM - for all riders on the Ride Includes: SAG WATER STOPS AND SUPPORT VEHICLES AVAILABLE UNTIL 12:00 NOON. SHOW AND GO START - You can take off as soon as you are registered 12:30 PM lunch for riders and volunteers, followed by prizes and an awards ceremony. Registration Required http://www.bike4breastcancer.org/regform_milford.html Early Registration Fee - $30.00 per cyclist* or $30 minimum in sponsorships. On Site Registration Fee - $35.00 per cyclist or $35 minimum in sponsorships. Description of Routes: 8 Mile Rides - A beautiful ride through Kensington Park, around Kent Lake. 16 and 24 Mile Rides - Starts with a ride through Kensington Park, then over to Island Lake Recreation. (the connection is made under I-96). The first 8 miles are done on the bike path, for a total of 16 miles. The next 8 miles are on the park road to the back of the park and back to the bike path and then returning to Kensington, for a total of 24 miles. 41 Mile Rides - Adds the 8, 16, and 24 miles, then leaves the parks to ride north on Kensington Road to circle around the General Motors Proving Grounds and back, adding 17 miles (this is a challenging, beautiful ride) for a total of 41 miles. 50 Mile Rides - All the previous routes, plus an additional reverse trip around Kensington for a total of 50 miles.
